   well in a
   variety of games. It is truly indeed a budget gaming card that you can’t go wrong with. It isn’t that great when it comes to performance in some triple A gaming titles but it is an amazing Esport and Triple A title gaming (most of those played at low to medium settings or are customized settings) card nonetheless.

   My specs.

   Screen: 1980x1080p, 180mhz (overclocked)

   Ram: 8×2 3200 mhz Ram

   CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x

   Storage: P5 Crucial SSD 1TB

   First I tested out Triple A games:

   Game: No Man’s Sky

   Note: Loading time for the game (considering I have a P5 Crucial 1TB SSD): 30 seconds at best with this GPU

   Settings:

   Ultra: 60fps but the frame rates drop to 30 or even 20 every now and then especially when interacting with the ambient surroundings and that of objects, and launching your ship for outer space, and frequent stutters can be observed (game breaking for me but maybe not for some players).

   Standard settings: 60 fps with minimal stuttering (although the stuttering isn’t as noticable as that of Ultra settings, the stuttering was still there, if this doesn’t bother you then this setting is for you)

   Performance Setting (Low Settings):
   Still performing at 60 fps with minor stuttering (the stuttering is bearable at this setting although there are still minor stuttering from the card here and there, but it can easily be overlooked, I suggest playing in this setting as this is optimal to achieve a decent gaming experience)

   Game Title: Skyrim V Elder Scrolls

   Note: This game isn’t that new but isn’t that old either, and I haven’t used texture enhancement mods to really stress out the graphics card. I am playing only in vanilla so the game should be taken at face value minus all the mods.

   Ultra: 180 fps -178fps no problems there as this is a well dated game and could use a little enhancement mod. Had I used texture enhancement mods the frame rate would significantly drop depending on the number of texture enhancing mods I have in place for the game for it to look more like a 2018ish or 2020ish kind of game, but at vanilla settings this runs better than expected

   Note: I haven’t tried other settings out as Ultra is the threshold setting and it ran at that preset pretty well so I assume there are no problems when lowering the graphics. I only ever see the need to lower the graphics had I had in place texture enhancing mods for the game. And even by then, ultra settings with texture enhancement mods would most likely run at 100fps or 80fps or worst case scenario 60fps (this is a heavily modded game with a lot of texture enhancement mods in place)

   Game Title: Mount and Blade Bannerlord

   Maxed out graphics: 148fps dipping to 120 with soldiers and all fighting in the background. This game is amazing and this card can do wonders for it’s price point at the time of my buying of this card (14k+). This ran as expected giving you a good experience of what Bannerlord can offer, albeit a few stuttering moments in game especially when there are a lot of rendered models (troops) on screen. I assume fps will drop even lower in a 1000 vs 1000 battle or a huge clash with a lot of going on in the background, worse case scenario would be around 60fps or so with noticable stuttering, but with a few hundred men in the battlefield deployed at a time maybe 300 vs 300 or 500 vs 500, the card can handle it well under this preset. I haven’t really stress tested the card that much just yet meaning I haven’t checked the other lower settings or haven’t been able to customize the settings cause I haven’t got the time to do it, but based on my playthrough this card provided for a good gaming experience for bannerlord.

   Game: Shogun 2 Total War

   Ultra Settings: This game runs at around 70-68 fps but no lower than 68fps as per my gameplay. The game is divided into two sections, the real time strategy which renders the GPU performing at 70-68fps and the turn based strategy map which most likely renders more than that (I haven’t tested out the map part, but to be fair, it is just turn based and nothing really goes on that much in the campaign map so no heavy load for the GPU whatsoever compared to it’s real time counterpart). The game has excellent playability no thanks to the capable GPU that is RX 6600 XT! I haven’t observed stuttering while playing this game, although if you were to place a lot of artillery with all the smoke and the ash and the boom 💥 that the artillery pieces provide (especially fire mangonels) the game would probably have minor stuttering.

   As for ESports titles.

   If you are a casual player and only play for ESports titles, Sir Bermor has covered this topic already and even discussed about dota 2 in his videos in YouTube, go check that one out.

   Basically RX 6600 XT is capable of handling any ESports to date you throw at it. Most games will most likely run at around 200+ fps with probably 70 or 80 fps as the lowest for ESports titles , but as per my testing 170 fps or 180fps is good enough for me considering that this card is already doing so well for it’s price point!

   Pubg- 180-178fps (this is the only eSports I’ve played , under maxed out settings and all of that)

   Overall: You can play triple A games but with a little bit of worry if it’s all maxed out. When gaming, there is little to no difference between high and ultra settings, and you will find that with this card you will have to constantly customize your settings and prioritize on textures you really want to shine, and if that’s not your cup of tea you can just go with preset normal settings o
   , And if the GPU allows for it, then high settings it is.There is no reason for you to go for ultra or even high settings anyway, at this point those are just bragging rights, and you are considering this price point not for the bragging rights, but because you’re on a budget in the first place 😝.

   This card is amazing at what it does, and you should consider purchasing this if it goes on sale, if the prices get even with the RTX 3060 I suggest you get the 3060 instead of this one, but as an upgrade or a new card with a tight budget and you want a decent card and it’s on sale then get this card. You can’t go wrong with RX 6600 XT!

   Upon posting the 2-star review, they immediately replied and started an investigation on this matter. They called me (they texted me first if it’s okay to call, which is A+) to ask for my insights and grievances. Upon further review, it was concluded that they were at fault. They immediately held themselves accountable and took responsibility for their actions regarding this inconvenience I experienced and offered a compensation for the trouble. I am changing my 2-star rating to 4 stars, as I, in good faith, cannot give a 5-star rating because to do otherwise would be the same as claiming that I was never inconvenienced.    Finally upgraded my old and trusty Ryzen 5 2600 you may now rest buddy(2018-2023) No more hiccups while playing CPU intensive games. And 1% lows improve significantly, Will now replay Cyberpunk2077 and Hogwarts Legacy Using 5600X 🙂
